Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers Entrepreneurship Award
In March 2008 Technology High School Team 675 received the Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers Entrepreneurship Award at the UC Davis Sacramento Regional competition. The award is bestowed to teams that have developed a comprehensive business plan in order to scope, manage, and achieve team goals. Over the past few years, the team has developed individual groups. Each group has a different responsibility in furthering the team's success.
FIRST Engineering Inspiration Award
In March 2007 the Technology High School Robotics team won the FIRST Engineering Inspiration Award at the UC Davis Sacramento Regional. This award celebrates achievement in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within the team’s school and their community. In order to receive this award Technology High School Robotics used the team to reach out into the community and became successful in involving local engineering community in FIRST robotics. This is the second highest team award bestowed by FIRST. |
